The Black Tie Red Carpet Opening Night Gala will be celebrated with excitement and style April 10 at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center at 7 p.m. The opening night film "A Man and His Trumpet: The Leroy Jones Story," directed by Cameron Washington will begin with the red carpet rolling out, paparazzi clicking and doors opening at 5 p.m. for drinks, mingling & musical entertainment with local and international filmmakers prior to the featured movie. Attending will be Mr. Washington and featured jazz trumpeter Leroy Jones. The Red Carpet VIP After Party which will inlude a fabulous full jazz concert featuring Mr. Jones and an after party including fully-stocked bar and a chance to meet with the stars of the evening’s film, other filmmakers and event VIPs. The event will provide the delicious culinary experience of G3 catering. The event will benefit the Raddatz Foundation and Florida Arts Inc. With introduction by filmmaker Ilene Safron and remarks by director Michael Flanders.
